Obama and the South

The New York Times was up Tuesday with a very good read on the Southern vote and last week's presidential election. I recommend you check it out. I am too tired to comment on what I think substantively of the article, but it jogged my mind to the long-stalled series I started up -- what seems ages ago -- on Democratic strength in the South. I promise that I am going to finally put up a conclusion piece on possible Southern re-realignment soon. Now that the elections are over and we have a complete picture of next year's congressional delegation, this should be easier.
